The project presented a range of challenges rooted in the cathedral’s long history and complex organizational structure.
One major hurdle was the vast amount of information spread across different departments and institutions, making it difficult to provide visitors with a clear and consistent digital experience. Additionally, grown and fragmented IT infrastructures created technical and organizational hurdles, while the lack of a unified communication and IT concept led to inefficiencies in collaboration and data management. Finally, the outdated hosting environment limited performance, scalability, and security — requiring a complete technological overhaul as the foundation for the new digital ecosystem.
It’s an honor for us to accompany the Cologne Cathedral on its digital journey.
The long-standing trust and partnership we’ve built over the years form the foundation for our shared success and the continued development of meaningful, future-ready IT projects.
Next projects.
